Competition Results
The second edition of Open Sonority International instrumental Competition is officially in the books!
The event took place on May 11th & 12th, 2024 at the Kawai Piano Gallery in Houston, TX and was an absolute success. There were fifty participants, ages five to eighteen, competing in their age categories for the exciting cash prizes. The judges Eliza Ching (Doctor of Musical Arts and active pianist) and Charlie Tauber (Master of Music and active pianist) listened to the contestants and selected the thirty one award-winners. The next year’s Open Sonority International Instrumental Competition will be an even more exciting, satisfying, and fulfilling experience for the students, parents, and teachers.
